SydWest Multicultural Services’ many multicultural seniors are invited to celebrate Seniors Week by taking part in a day encouraging health and wellbeing through activity and acknowledging their contribution to our local community.

Blacktown and Penrith
International Women’s Day celebrates the positive contribution of women in our community and offers inspiration for change. It is a chance to reflect on the advancements made towards gender equality and the progress still to be made.
Everyone belongs! A celebratory day of entertainment, children’s activities, cultural stalls, storytelling, food and more – brings the community together to celebrate and drive harmony in the community.
Youth Week is organisation by young people, for young people and offers opportunity for SydWest’s young people to share ideas, showcase their talents, celebrate their contribution to the community and have fun!
Our annual event is a chance to acknowledge and say thank you to the many volunteers from across the community who provide invaluable support to our programs, services and events each year.

Part of national Refugee Week, our event is for all Australians to celebrate the contributions that our refugee community make to the Australian society. It is an opportunity for greater understanding and to break down barriers for all Australians. #refugeeswelcome
Each year, SydWest and partners holds the Multicultural Christmas in honour of our seniors groups participants, frail aged clients and people with a disability who come together each year to celebrate with others, a partnership with Sathya SAI International Organization of Australia and PNG (NSW Region West).
